Sidekick facilitates new deal for Mattias Kait at Fulham

We are pleased to confirm that Mattias Kait has signed a new deal at Fulham that will see him extend his stay at the Championship club until 2019.  The Estonian international has been a regular in the clubs Under 23 side this season.

Upon signing his new deal, a delighted Mattias outlined his immediate future goals “I’m very happy to be extending my time with Fulham FC.  My first aim of course is to get to the First Team squad.  Training with them, getting onto the bench, and then getting my debut.  That’s my first aim and then we will see what happens.”

“He knows that the hard work must continue and with his exceptional attitude we are confident that he will soon realise his full potential.” – Matt Kleinman – Sidekick Management

Matt Kleinman believes now is the time for Mattias to start to show everyone what he can do “we are happy that Mattias has been rewarded for his hard work but this is just the beginning for him.  He knows that the hard work must continue and with his exceptional attitude we are confident that he will soon realise his full potential.  He is ambitious, focused and a pleasure to work with”.

Fulham Academy Director Huw Jennings was also full of praise “We’re always pleased to offer players who we brought to the Club an opportunity to extend their agreement.  I think that particularly when you look at Mattias’ potential, he played for his national team, when he’s played for the Under-23s he’s often been heavily involved in assists and goals, and everyone can see that he’s got potential to make good progress.”

Chris Martin has put pen to paper on a new contract at parent club Derby County

We are pleased to confirm that client Chris Martin has put pen to paper on a new contract at parent club Derby County. Chris is currently on loan at Fulham.

The new deal will run until 2020 and Chris is obviously delighted to commit his future to Derby, “I really am excited and happy to be signing this new contract with Derby County. At the start of this season I was not in the previous manager’s plans, which is a decision that I completely understood and respected. As a result I had the opportunity to move to Fulham on loan, which gave me the chance to play first-team football elsewhere. I am thankful that the board only allowed the move on a temporary basis, because I really didn’t want to leave Derby and my family is settled in the area too. Derby County is a fantastic club with so many things going for it and driven desire to reach the Premier League. I am very happy that the club and the manager see me as part of the long-term future. I am committed to being as successful as I possibly can be with Derby County.”

“Steve McLaren has returned to Derby and having previously worked with Chris, knows first hand what he can offer and this new contract is testament to that…” Alex Levack – Sidekick Management

Alex Levack said “we are all really pleased for Chris who is a committed professional. It’s never nice to be told that you aren’t required at a club but Chris has gone on loan to Fulham and showed consistently what he can do and continue to score and create goals. Steve McLaren has returned to Derby and having previously worked with Chris, knows first hand what he can offer and this new contract is testament to that”.
